Now, it represents one of Prague’s most visited attractions, mainly because of its unique astronomical clock, located on the south wall of the Old Town Hall. There is also a lot to see around the Old Town: pay a visit to Republic Square, the Powder Tower, or Municipal House.

The largest enclosed castle complex in the world was built and extended over centuries, so the castle reflects many builders and styles. It was right here where the Thirty Years’ War began in 1618. In the very center of the castle complex stands the St. Vitus Cathedral. Today, Prague Castle is the official residence of the Czech President.
