MOOo by the Castle

Prague is in the heart of Europe – and our apartments lie in the most picturesque neighborhood of Lesser Town. Our 16th-century building is set in the exclusive cobblestoned district, just around the corner from the world’s largest castle complex. From here, you can reach the most favored attractions in Prague on foot.

Whether you arrive in Prague by bus, plane, or train, we’re easy to find.
Here is how to reach us:

By car
By taxi from the airport
By public transport

Petrin

The Eiffel Tower’s little sister, the Petrin Tower was built in 1891. Locals and tourists climb up its 299 stairs to enjoy beautiful views of The City of a Hundred Spires and beyond. After such exercise, there is nothing better than having a nice picnic in the park below the tower.

On foot: 15 minutes

Strahov Monastery

Founded in 1140, it is considered one of the oldest existing Premonstratensian monasteries in the world. In the complex, there are several attractions such as the church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Strahov Library, and the Strahov Gallery. Here, you can find one of the most significant collections of paintings from the Gothic, Baroque, and Rococo eras.

On foot: 15 minutes

Old Town Square

From the 11th century, the Old Town Square was home to merchants and craftsmen. Now, it represents one of Prague’s most visited attractions, mainly because of its unique astronomical clock, located on the south wall of the Old Town Hall. There is also a lot to see around the Old Town: pay a visit to Republic Square, the Powder Tower, or Municipal House.

On foot: 20 minutes

Charles Bridge

One of the most famous bridges in the world, and the oldest bridge in the Czech Republic. Charles Bridge connects Prague’s Old Town with Lesser Town. In the past, the Bohemian kings walked across this 14th-century stone bridge during their coronation. Today, many tourists and locals stroll across this historical bridge and enjoy views of the Vltava river.

On foot: 10 minutes

Prague Castle

The largest enclosed castle complex in the world was built and extended over centuries, so the castle reflects many builders and styles. It was right here where the Thirty Years’ War began in 1618. In the very center of the castle complex stands the St. Vitus Cathedral. Today, Prague Castle is the official residence of the Czech President.

On foot: 5 minutes

National Theatre

The Renaissance Revival jewel was built at the end of the 19th century and was financed by donations from the people, making it a symbol of national pride. The Nová scéna, its futuristic extension, was completed in 1983, housing the world-famous Laterna Magika Theatre. If you love culture and theatre, the National Theatre is definitely worth a visit.
